Base Salary
$171k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own technical design, launch, experimentation, and iteration for major consumer-facing features.
- Drive frontend architecture decisions covering component design, state management, data-fetching patterns, and performance budgets.
- Build and optimize event discovery, seat selection, and checkout flows for speed, reliability, and user experience.
- Design, instrument, and interpret A/B experiments with Product and Data partners.
- Implement frontend observability, including error tracking, performance monitoring, and real-user metrics.
- Contribute to shared design-system components and frontend standards.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code review, pairing, and technical leadership.
- Collaborate with mobile, backend, and platform teams on cross-platform experiences.
Requirements
- Typically 5+ years of experience delivering complex frontend solutions independently and contributing to technical decisions.
- Experience with React Native and TypeScript or cross-platform mobile development.
- Familiarity with Next.js or similar server-side rendering/static-site generation frameworks and edge-rendering patterns.
- Proficiency with modern state management such as Zustand, Redux Toolkit, or React Query, plus REST or GraphQL data-fetching patterns.
- Strong UI engineering fundamentals, including responsive and adaptive design, WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, and motion and animation.
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end frontend testing using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Experience building or maintaining a shared design system or component library at team scale.
- Open-source contributions or public technical writing demonstrating depth of craft.
- Experience owning consumer-facing products at a scale of millions of users or transactions.
- Experience with experiment-driven product development and quantitative analysis.
- Collaborative problem-solving approach and passion for building products.
- Web3 or digital-goods purchasing experience is optional; experience in marketplaces, ticketing, or high-transaction-volume e-commerce is preferred.
- Curiosity and fluency with AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT is a plus.
