SS&C TechnologiesResponsibilities
- Analyze, design, program, test, debug, and maintain software enhancements and new products.
- Build and maintain modern web applications for internal and external customers.
- Develop REST APIs and microservices for integration with internal and external client systems.
- Define, develop, and estimate user stories and epics with product owners and agile teammates.
- Create and implement automated BDD tests with business analysts and QA.
- Resolve software defects and maintain architectural diagrams, installation documentation, and maintenance procedures.
- Support the scalability, security, and maintainability of cloud-based financial services products.
- Interact with users to define system requirements and necessary modifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or a master’s degree.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and SQL.
- Interest in working across the full stack, including backend and frontend development.
- Familiarity with Git, unit testing, and collaborative software development; school projects count.
- Ability to learn new technologies, solve problems, work proactively, and meet deadlines.
- Exposure to Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, JUnit, a modern JavaScript framework, HTML5, and CSS3 is preferred.
- Knowledge of REST API design, microservices, Docker, AWS or Azure, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, Kafka, or NoSQL databases is preferred.
- Agile or Scrum experience from a co-op or internship is preferred.
