Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modify, review, debug, and maintain high-quality software across front-end, back-end, and data layers.
- Build reusable components, services, utilities, and scalable application designs using Java and React.
- Integrate systems through APIs, messaging queues, and databases.
- Develop data pipelines and large-scale data processing jobs using appropriate frameworks and cloud services.
- Create and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end automated tests.
- Maintain CI and CI/CD pipelines, package applications, and deploy them to multiple environments using containerization and orchestration tools.
- Monitor production applications, investigate incidents, analyze logs, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
- Optimize applications for performance, cost efficiency, and maintainability.
- Apply secure coding practices, manage secrets, validate inputs, and maintain robust authentication and authorization.
- Maintain technical documentation and comply with regulatory standards and audit requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in web application development using Java/J2EE, with UI/UX experience in React 18 or above.
- Knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming and the ability to work across application development lifecycle phases with limited direction.
- Experience developing, implementing, debugging, testing, and reviewing web-based commercial or end-user applications.
- Experience integrating APIs, messaging queues, and databases.
- Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deploying applications.
- Experience applying secure coding practices and complying with regulatory standards.
- Experience with Spring Boot and strong React UI/UX development experience.
- Experience using AI-powered coding tools and optimizing code for performance, cost efficiency, and maintainability.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience with Java 17+, Hibernate, MySQL, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, time-management, communication, and independent-working skills.
