Base Salary
$166k - $269k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable cloud-based systems on AWS for collectibles platforms and customer experiences.
- Develop APIs and backend services supporting web and mobile journeys for buying, selling, authentication, and grading.
- Own technical architecture and end-to-end feature delivery from design through deployment.
- Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability across existing platforms.
- Build and evolve complex grading and authentication workflows.
- Use modern AI tools and techniques to accelerate development and engineering velocity.
- Provide technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, mentorship, and cross-team quality improvements.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, TPM, and Business partners on requirements, tradeoffs, and execution.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience building web applications, APIs, and distributed systems at scale.
- 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience, including serverless and event-driven architectures.
- Experience at product-driven technology companies building service-oriented or microservice-based systems.
- Use of modern AI tools such as Claude Cowork and Codex as part of the development workflow.
- Deep proficiency in at least one object-oriented language and ability to work across languages such as Python, C#, or Java.
- Familiarity with modern client-side frameworks such as React and Next.js and experience delivering consumer-facing digital experiences.
- Strong engineering fundamentals in object-oriented programming, design patterns, testing, security, and observability.
- Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional product teams.

- The salary range is $165,848-$269,259, with potential eligibility for bonuses, commissions, or other compensation.
