Responsibilities
- Explore complex tabular data and support data-centric AI development.
- Train, fine-tune, optimize, deploy, test, and monitor machine learning models and AI agents.
- Work with data scientists, MLOps engineers, and AI engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand business processes and model input data.
- Support a high-visibility AI project alongside experienced data scientists and AI developers.
- Work with SAP BTP and hyperscaler cloud offerings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and at least one additional programming or scripting language.
- Experience with one or more machine learning or agentic AI frameworks.
- Understanding of statistical methods and model quality assessment.
- Strong oral and written English communication skills.
- General interest in applying machine learning or agentic AI to business problems.
- Experience working with complex tabular data.
- Preferred: experience with model explainability and interpretability, deep learning architectures, Spark, CI/CD frameworks, or MLOps tools.
