Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and diagnose escalated customer issues involving the SYNKROS application, interfaces, and database.
- Communicate with customers and vendors to resolve SYNKROS-related issues and provide Level II customer support.
- Receive escalations from Level I and Level II support and provide after-hours assistance for critical situations.
- Identify SYNKROS bugs, recommend fixes, coordinate with R&D, and track resolutions back to Customer Service.
- Perform SYNKROS version upgrades and maintain visibility into new functionality from development cycles.
- Work with internal teams to maintain and develop tools that improve Customer Service resolution efficiency.
- Report discrepancies, changes, recommendations, and problems to senior management.
Requirements
- Expertise in Java programming, including object-oriented programming, JVM concepts, reflection, I/O, and data structures.
- Strong SQL knowledge, including advanced query and procedure building, applied to the SYNKROS database.
- Knowledge of socket programming, threading, TCP/IP, JDBC, Oracle or other RDBMS, SQLPlus, XML, HTML5, Linux, performance monitoring, design patterns, API design, ORM, SOA, automation, and deployment.
- Intermediate or higher proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to obtain gaming licenses, gaming cards, or other certifications required by applicable regulations or jurisdictions.
- Ability to interpret technical and operational documents, write reports and correspondence, and communicate effectively with customers and employees.
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
