Responsibilities
- Lead DevOps on-call support during work hours to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage and maintain Gong’s cloud environments.
- Automate and streamline processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with R&D, Security, and Product teams for seamless integration of DevOps practices.
- Optimize infrastructure for security and cost efficiency.
- Contribute to the company's long-term cloud strategy.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Strong background in cloud computing technologies, particularly AWS.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation, with experience in Python and Bash.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Expertise in GitOps and CI/CD methodologies using tools like ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
- Proven experience with Kubernetes (K8s) in production environments.
- Solid understanding of computer networking fundamentals and cloud security principles.
- Experience in a Java-based environment is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead solutions from design to implementation.
- Self-motivated and creative thinker capable of navigating a fast-paced environment.
