Responsibilities
- Collaborate with domain experts, data scientists, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
- Build automated pipelines for data processing and the training, evaluation, and deployment of deep learning and LLM models, including Agentic AI.
- Design scalable infrastructure for model training and inference in cloud and on-premises environments.
- Set up monitoring and proactive countermeasures for model degradation.
- Enable data privacy and compliance with healthcare regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA during model development and deployment.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or PhD in computer science, mathematics, or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree with at least five years of experience.
- Experience creating engineering solutions supporting the AI/ML model lifecycle, including data ingestion, training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Familiarity with a cloud provider, preferably AWS.
- Proficiency with large-scale data processing technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
- Hands-on experience with scalable model deployment using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ability to provide maintainable, reusable code with Git source control, unit and integration testing, and knowledge of CI/CD concepts.
- Solid understanding of machine learning methods is preferred.
- Familiarity with integrating LLMs and Agentic AI into real-world software solutions, such as through MCP, is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work in interdisciplinary environments is preferred.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Ireland without employment-visa sponsorship.
