Responsibilities
- Contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, documentation, testing, and operations.
- Own end-to-end full-stack software solutions, including architecture, robust feature sets, and intuitive user interfaces.
- Design and maintain back-end services supporting time, attendance, productivity, and pay-policy computation.
- Build scalable, reliable, and highly secure systems serving Amazon businesses and regions.
- Apply appropriate technologies to address reliability, scaling, real-time analytics, surge traffic, fault detection, and data processing needs.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience contributing to new and existing systems architecture and design, including architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices across the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, software architecture, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience with coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
