Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Solve complex and ambiguous software engineering problems with high quality.
- Define service vision, designs, roadmaps, development plans, and operationalization for customer-facing services.
- Build highly available and fault-tolerant distributed systems and developer tools.
- Gather requirements from internal developer customers and carry projects through the full software lifecycle.
- Develop tools that support robust software development, safe deployment, testing, validation, and operations.
- Act as a hands-on technical lead, mentor engineers, and provide training and support for team technologies.
- Collaborate across teams and incorporate customer feedback to improve consistency and intuitiveness.
- Support product tooling, build and release pipelines, validation frameworks, static analysis, and datacenter lab infrastructure.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years covering the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
