Base Salary
$189k - $283k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop solutions for the Atlas distributed filesystem.
- Outline architectural principles for the platform's evolution.
- Prototype changes and collaborate with teams to implement them.
- Work on features like data integrity, security, and performance optimization.
- Guide multiple teams on best practices for building on Atlas.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in Distributed File Systems.
- Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design and development.
- Experience in building systems at scale and backend development.
- Hands-on coding skills in C++.
- Experience leading projects with 2-3 engineers.
