Responsibilities
- Analyze, develop, design, maintain, and test software and firmware for products and systems.
- Integrate software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency.
- Develop and validate structures, firmware documentation, and user documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and run software tests designed by more experienced engineers.
- Review test results, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to complex issues.
- Modify and upgrade existing firmware and enhance technologies for new solutions.
- Ensure compliance with quality processes and standards.
- Recommend improvements to team performance and productivity and seek tools to solve problems.
- Build productive internal, external, and occasional customer relationships.
- Provide guidance to non-exempt personnel when needed.
Requirements
- Experience or capability in software and firmware design, development, validation, testing, and maintenance.
- Ability to perform software and hardware integration and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Ability to analyze test results and conduct root cause analysis.
- Ability to work within defined procedures and practices while exercising judgment.
- Ability to contribute to code reviews, documentation, and quality processes.
- Ability to build productive working relationships and communicate with internal and external contacts.
