Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, maintain, integrate, validate, and test firmware/software for products and systems.
- Develop automated tests, manual tests, test plans, test APIs, test frameworks, and test automation tools for firmware functionality.
- Review test results, analyze failures, perform root cause analysis, reproduce and resolve bugs, and support fixes across test environments.
- Participate in code reviews, project CI/CD pipelines, documentation, quality processes, and process improvements.
- Mentor, coach, and technically lead junior team members while collaborating with firmware developers, architects, senior team members, managers, and other teams.
- Apply prompt engineering and generative AI tools to improve efficiency in day-to-day work.
Requirements
- Intermediate understanding of generative AI tools available in the market and thorough understanding of prompt engineering.
- Ability to work within defined procedures, exercise judgment, analyze and solve complex problems, and implement recommendations.
- Ability to develop firmware/software tests, automated test tools, test frameworks, test plans, and test networks.
- Ability to collaborate across teams, participate in code reviews, document work, and mentor junior team members.
