Base Salary
$185k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership and teammates to prioritize and execute the product roadmap.
- Design, develop, and own complex features and software components end-to-end.
- Deliver robust, scalable, and well-tested full-stack code.
- Establish engineering best practices and contribute to a healthy, high-performing team culture.
- Collaborate with Design and Operations teams to improve the product.
- Own architecture, mentor engineers, and raise overall team effectiveness.
- Partner with executives and cross-functional teams to define strategy, requirements, and deliverables.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience with a clear staff-level track record.
- 3+ years of experience contributing to system design or architecture.
- Strong full-stack proficiency with TypeScript or JavaScript on the frontend, Node.js on the backend, and React.
- A true full-stack or strongly frontend-leaning engineering profile.
- Demonstrated staff-level technical leadership, including architecture ownership and mentoring engineers.
- Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery, including architecting, deploying, and operating scalable services.
- Experience modeling, querying, and optimizing MongoDB schemas for performance at scale.
- Strong testing discipline across unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Consistent employment history and interest in remaining on a senior individual-contributor engineering track.
