Responsibilities
- Provision and change infrastructure exclusively as code to create reproducible, reviewable environments.
- Reverse engineer inherited applications and infrastructure, including dependencies, integrations, and end-to-end data flows.
- Design, build, evaluate, and harden agentic AI solutions that automate platform, delivery, and operations toil.
- Implement least-privilege access, secrets handling, policy-as-code guardrails, and audit evidence within delivery workflows.
- Engineer and manage observability solutions using OpenTelemetry.
- Deploy and manage Docker and Kubernetes container platforms, with emphasis on Azure Kubernetes Service and Azure Container Apps.
- Monitor container health and performance, troubleshoot issues, participate in root cause analysis, and implement lasting remediation.
Requirements
- Experience designing and building automated platform and infrastructure solutions is required.
- Ability to provision infrastructure as code and reverse engineer applications and infrastructure is required.
- Ability to build, evaluate, and harden agentic AI solutions for platform and operations work is required.
- Knowledge of security and compliance practices including least-privilege access, secrets handling, policy-as-code, and audit evidence is required.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Azure Container Apps is required or expected by the role.
- A high-speed broadband internet connection of at least 50 Mbps and the ability to establish a wired home-network connection are mandatory.
- Candidates must complete identity verification, a comprehensive background check, and in-person I-9 verification; drug screening may also apply.
