Responsibilities
- Provision and modify infrastructure exclusively as code to ensure reproducible and reviewable environments.
- Reverse engineer applications and infrastructure, tracing dependencies, integrations, and data flows.
- Design, build, evaluate, and harden agentic AI solutions for platform, delivery, and operations automation.
- Implement security and compliance controls including least-privilege access, secrets handling, policy-as-code, and audit evidence.
- Engineer and manage observability solutions using OpenTelemetry.
- Deploy and manage Docker and Kubernetes container platforms, with emphasis on Azure Kubernetes Service and Azure Container Apps.
- Monitor container health and performance, troubleshoot issues, participate in root cause analysis, and implement lasting remediation.
- Create and maintain transparent handoffs, documentation, and Office Hours reviews.
Requirements
- Experience building and operating platform infrastructure through infrastructure as code.
- Ability to reverse engineer systems and explain dependencies, integrations, and end-to-end data flows.
- Ability to build and evaluate agentic AI solutions rather than merely consume AI tools.
- Knowledge of secure delivery practices, least-privilege access, secrets management, policy-as-code, and compliance evidence.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry observability and application performance monitoring.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Azure Container Apps.
- Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and remediate containerized systems.
- A high-speed broadband connection of at least 50 Mbps and the ability to establish a wired home-network connection.
- Ability to complete identity verification, a comprehensive background check, in-person I-9 verification, and potentially drug screening.
