Responsibilities

  • Manage infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and Deployment Manager.
  • Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and other tools.
  • Containerize and orchestrate workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Automate operational tasks with Linux, Bash, and Python scripting.
  • Monitor systems using Kibana, Splunk, New Relic, Grafana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, and Datadog.
  • Define and manage SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
  • Handle production support, release management, and chaos engineering.
  • Integrate PagerDuty or Opsgenie for automated escalation.
  • Automate deployment gates based on SLO compliance and use predictive analytics for scaling decisions.

Requirements

  • Experience with multi-cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Experience with Terraform and Deployment Manager.
  • Experience building pipelines with GitHub Actions and other CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Linux, Bash, and Python scripting experience.
  • Experience with monitoring and APM tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace, and Datadog.
  • Knowledge of SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, ITSM/ITIL processes, and ticketing tools.
