Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Azure environments for development, test, and production.
- Configure Azure networking, virtual networks, private endpoints, and private connectivity to Databricks and Snowflake.
- Administer Databricks workspaces, clusters, cluster policies, and Unity Catalog metastores.
- Configure Snowflake accounts, warehouses, roles, and network policies with the data engineering team.
- Manage identity and access through Entra ID, PIM, and federated access.
- Manage secrets, keys, and certificates using Key Vault and HSM.
- Configure Azure Monitor and alerting and respond to platform incidents.
- Provision infrastructure as code using Terraform or Bicep through Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Support Azure Data Factory integration runtimes, API Management, Service Bus, and Functions.
- Track platform costs and apply tagging and usage policies.
Requirements
- 4 to 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering, including at least 2 years on Azure.
- Hands-on production setup experience with Databricks or Snowflake on Azure.
- Knowledge of Azure core services, networking, storage, compute, and resource management.
- Experience with Entra ID, role-based access control, PIM, Key Vault, Databricks workspace administration, Terraform or Bicep, and Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
- Scripting experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python.
- Degree in engineering or computer applications, such as B.E., B.Tech, or MCA.
- Snowflake administration, Azure DevOps pipelines, API Management, Service Bus, Informatica secure agent setup, and Power Platform environment administration are preferred.
- Knowledge of security and data residency requirements in regulated financial services and change and access control processes in banking IT is preferred.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or Azure Security Engineer Associate certifications are preferred.
