Base Salary

$105k - $175k/yr

Responsibilities

Serve as a primary technical point of contact for external technology resources and work directly with customers and end users.
Lead large multi-functional development activities and provide technical input, sizing, and budget recommendations to management.
Write, review, debug, and optimize complex software code and system component specifications.
Design and work with complex data models and provide expertise in data management and optimization.
Document requirements, technical issues, root causes, specifications, and project results.
Plan and execute automated and performance testing with QA staff, project managers, technical leads, and subject matter experts.
Conduct code and project reviews and implement quality-control procedures for project deliverables.
Mentor lead data engineers on development methodologies and optimization techniques.

10+ years of engineering experience with data strategy and data management experience required.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science preferred, or equivalent experience required.
Expertise in applicable software development methodologies and industry technology development trends.
Expertise in data engineering, data maintenance, data manipulation, and optimization techniques.
Proven expertise using and developing applicable desktop tool sets.
Expertise partnering with and leading internal and external technology resources to solve complex business needs.
Strong interpersonal skills and solid knowledge of architectural principles.
Excellent proficiency with data manipulation languages and optimization techniques.
Development language experience including Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, .NET, and HPCC.
