Base Salary
$105k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary technical point of contact for external technology resources, customers, and end users.
- Lead large multifunctional development activities and solve complex technical problems.
- Write, review, and optimize complex code and detailed technical specifications.
- Design and work with complex data models and address data management issues.
- Complete complex bug fixes, investigate root causes, and document issues and results.
- Develop and execute automated and performance testing scripts.
- Conduct code and project reviews and implement quality-control procedures for deliverables.
- Mentor lead data engineers on development methodologies and optimization techniques.
- Collaborate with QA/testing staff, project managers, technical leads, and subject matter experts.
- Provide sizing or budget recommendations to management when needed.
Requirements
- 10+ years of engineering experience, including data strategy and data management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science preferred, or equivalent experience required.
- Expertise in data engineering, data maintenance, development languages, desktop tool sets, and applicable technology trends.
- Proven ability to partner with and lead internal and external technology resources in solving complex business needs.
- Strong knowledge of architectural principles and data manipulation language optimization techniques.
- Expertise with Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, .NET, and HPCC.
- Strong interpersonal skills and expertise in applicable software development processes.

- U.S. national base pay range is $104,900–$174,700, with geographic differentials potentially applying.
- Eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
