Sr. Software Engineer
Northwestern MutualResponsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, deploy, and support software solutions and infrastructure implementations or upgrades.
- Apply engineering best practices, test-driven development, and continuous integration practices.
- Establish monitoring and automation processes.
- Work across diverse technical tasks in a DevOps environment.
- Explain technical solutions to technical and non-technical teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Six-plus years of experience required.
- Experience analyzing, designing, developing, deploying, and supporting software solutions or infrastructure implementations and upgrades.
- Experience with applicable technical platforms, which may include front end, back end, cloud, .NET, Java, or full stack technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with limited requirements.
- Strong sense of ownership and effective collaboration skills.
