Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve shared APIs for document processing, approval workflows, administration, and analytics.
- Own the tenant-isolated MySQL persistence layer, including typed repositories, tenant-scoped units of work, transactions, and permissions.
- Extend cross-tenant capabilities for enterprise users, permissions, and documents across subsidiaries and business units.
- Own email document ingestion, outbound email services, audit trails, and related UI.
- Create migration tools and admin UIs for self-service SSO, SCIM, and email setup.
- Build React UIs on the maintained component and design system while owning features from backend service through production.
- Work with customer IT teams and project managers during onboarding and convert learnings into better tooling.
- Lead technical initiatives, collaborate across teams, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience, primarily building and operating backend systems in production.
- 2+ years of professional Go experience writing production services.
- Experience designing and maintaining backend services or APIs relied upon by other teams as usage grows.
- Strong fundamentals in type systems, composition, testing, and clean architecture, with comfort in functional patterns.
- Ability to work across product, integration, and infrastructure teams and communicate technical trade-offs clearly.
- Experience shipping React/TypeScript admin UIs using existing components and design systems.
- Product ownership skills, including translating business problems into specifications, evaluating trade-offs, and working directly with customers.
- Preferred experience with distributed systems, Kubernetes, Temporal, cloud infrastructure, SCIM, SSO/OIDC, and multi-tenant systems.
- Preferred domain knowledge in ERP, finance, procurement, or supply chain processes, or German language skills.
