Responsibilities
- Advance preventive healthcare technology by predicting health risks from fitness and medical data.
- Partner with research teams to bring machine learning research into products.
- Build machine learning infrastructure for large-scale model training and evaluation.
- Improve and maintain infrastructure for smooth operation and minimal toil.
- Build data pipelines for large-scale machine learning datasets containing sensitive fitness and medical data.
- Drive platform unification and simplicity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- At least 3 years of experience designing, building, and operating large-scale machine learning infrastructure and distributed systems.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: software development experience in C++ or Python with a strong systems-programming background.
- Preferred: experience architecting scalable machine learning pipelines from dataset management through automated model training.
- Preferred: experience performing deep-dive forensics on distributed systems across multiple languages and frameworks.
