Base Salary
$154k - $239k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and migrate applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
- Provide architectural guidance and recommendations for running applications efficiently and reliably on AWS.
- Help ISVs define technical strategies for presenting their offerings on AWS.
- Lead deep architectural discussions and design exercises for scalable, resilient cloud solutions.
- Create or contribute to customer-facing white papers and blog articles.
- Share customer feedback with AWS product management and engineering teams.
- Partner with sales to execute cloud adoption strategies through presentations, proofs of concept, demos, and hands-on evaluations.
- Build relationships with senior technical customer stakeholders and promote cloud advocacy.
- Capture and share best practices within the AWS solutions architect community.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in specific technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
- 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructures.
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
- Preferred: 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
- Preferred: experience working with end-user or developer communities.
