Responsibilities
- Design, set up, deploy, administer, and operate Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform clusters across multiple on-premises environments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and platform automation.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code for platform provisioning and configuration management.
- Deploy and operate OpenShift Data Foundation, HashiCorp Vault, Red Hat AMQ Broker, monitoring, and logging services.
- Implement secrets management, certificate management, vulnerability remediation, and security hardening controls.
- Configure monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and OpenShift Monitoring.
- Implement backup, recovery, disaster recovery, high availability, and operational automation procedures.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, platform, deployment, performance, and availability issues.
- Support migration and operation of containerized Java applications running on OpenShift.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or platform engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience administering Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Strong experience with AWS.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent tools.
- Strong Linux administration experience, preferably with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Ansible.
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and centralized logging solutions including Prometheus and Grafana.
- Experience with backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and platform operations.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Bash and/or Python.
- Good English communication skills.
- Preferred: experience migrating workloads from AWS to Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Preferred: AWS SAA-C03 or SOA-C03 certification and/or Kubernetes CKA or CKAD certification.
