Responsibilities
- Develop efficient infrastructure and tools for automating complex software processes.
- Build test harnesses, benchmarking frameworks, and analytical tools to characterize and optimize software and hardware performance.
- Apply knowledge of operating systems, kernel internals, device drivers, memory management, storage, networking, and high-speed interconnects.
- Design, build, and operate scalable distributed systems and automation infrastructure.
- Work with engineering teams to define requirements and deliver efficient solutions.
- Set performance goals, monitor feedback, analyze data, and improve system reliability.
- Contribute to technical strategies and roadmaps for platform automation initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or a master’s degree or equivalent experience in a similar field.
- 6+ years of industry experience in software development focused on infrastructure, distributed systems, automation, and/or performance engineering.
- Proficiency in system-level programming with C++, Python, or Go.
- Deep understanding of operating system internals, device drivers, memory management, and performance debugging.
- Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems, including networking protocols, cluster management, and high-performance interconnects.
- Experience building and maintaining automated testing, benchmarking, and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Preferred experience optimizing AI or machine learning inference workloads across diverse hardware platforms.
- Preferred experience with large-scale compute infrastructure in cloud environments or on-premises data centers.
- Preferred experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and performance profiling tools.
