Responsibilities
- Collaborate with software architects to elaborate software specifications and architecture.
- Design and code software components.
- Set up and maintain the software development toolchain.
- Specify, design, and perform testing and verification for deliverables.
- Manage software work products under configuration control.
- Support software-software and hardware-software integration activities.
- Apply established processes and standards and contribute reusable solutions and continuous improvements.
- Work collaboratively with software, hardware, and quality assurance teams.
Requirements
- Engineer or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Mandatory experience in software development.
- Knowledge of software architecture and component design.
- Familiarity with testing and verification processes.
- Understanding of railway software development or vital/secure software development is desirable.
- Strong oral and written English communication skills; French is highly desirable and German is an asset.
- Ability to work collaboratively across engineering teams.
- Team management and leadership skills.
- Experience with concurrent engineering practices.
