Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive cloud-based web user interfaces for Automotive Software Defined Vehicle platforms.
- Build frontend applications using React.js, Next.js, Angular, Vue.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualization interfaces for vehicle telemetry, simulation status, and analytics.
- Integrate frontend applications with AWS-hosted backend services and APIs through API Gateway.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control using AWS Cognito, OAuth2, JWT, and OIDC.
- Develop real-time UI updates using WebSockets and event-driven messaging interfaces.
- Create reusable UI components and frontend libraries for scalable platform development.
- Deploy frontend applications using AWS services such as S3 and CloudFront.
- Optimize frontend performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Collaborate with backend engineers, cloud architects, DevOps teams, and product teams.
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain frontend code quality, testing, maintainability, and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–6 years of experience in frontend web application development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with React.js, Next.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive UI design principles.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with APIs and microservices.
- Experience implementing authentication systems using AWS Cognito, OAuth2, JWT, or OIDC.
- Knowledge of real-time web technologies such as WebSockets.
- Experience with frontend state management and component-based UI architecture.
- Familiarity with Git-based development workflows and AWS frontend deployment using S3, CloudFront, and API Gateway.
- Exposure to frontend deployment pipelines.
- Understanding of Software Defined Vehicle platforms, connected vehicle ecosystems, telemetry dashboards, IoT, vehicle signal visualization, simulation monitoring, data pipelines, cloud analytics, container-based deployment, or cloud-native DevOps environments is advantageous.
- Strong UI/UX thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving, debugging, communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Senior candidates with 6+ years of experience are expected to guide UI architecture, component design, and frontend best practices.
