Base Salary
$169k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with product teams to co-build agent use cases, provide enablement through office hours and integration materials, and drive platform adoption.
- Translate team-specific requirements into generalized platform capabilities and roadmap proposals.
- Design and build the agent runtime, tool registry, process isolation, egress restrictions, and credential-scoping controls.
- Build automated agent testing harnesses, LLM-as-a-judge pipelines, regression tracking, and quality dashboards.
- Own end-to-end agent tracing, session replay, cost attribution, and latency profiling across multi-step runs.
- Maintain Model Context Protocol servers, third-party tool integrations, and versioned platform API schemas.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging agent frameworks and tools with AI architects and engineering leads.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years focused on developer platforms, internal tooling, or infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying production LLM applications or agentic systems.
- Deep proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript and the ability to read and navigate Go codebases.
- Experience designing and maintaining developer-facing REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Strong understanding of agent architecture, including tool usage, multi-step reasoning, memory management, structured output, and error handling.
- Familiarity with the ConTech landscape and the operational needs of general contractors, subcontractors, owners, project managers, and field engineers.
- Preferred qualifications include ConTech support experience, MCP or tool-calling framework experience, LLM evaluation experience, workflow orchestration experience, AI/ML observability experience, and forward-deployed, solutions engineering, or developer advocacy experience.
Benefits
- Base pay is listed at $168,560.00-$231,770.00 USD annually, with potential eligibility for equity and/or bonus incentive compensation.
- Hybrid schedule requiring 2 days per week in the Austin office.
