Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex workflows and APIs.
- Write scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Translate software requirements into stable, high-performance, high-availability software.
- Contribute to architectural and design decisions for distributed services.
Requirements
- Good understanding of Golang programming concepts, paradigms, constructs, and idioms.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming, goroutines, and channels.
- Experience designing low-latency and high-performance software.
- Experience with Go vendor package management tools such as Glide and dep.
- Experience with ORMs such as Gorm.
- Understanding of unit and performance testing, including frameworks such as Ginkgo.
- Experience with Go templating and writing effective Godoc comments.
- Familiarity with Git, SVN, and Mercurial.
- Experience with modern API standards, JavaScript frameworks, Ruby or Ruby on Rails, Redis, RabbitMQ, OpenSSL, mod_security, Linux, AWS, or DevOps tools is advantageous.
- Previous payment-industry experience is advantageous.
