$180k - $235k/yr

Responsibilities

Own the mobile product lifecycle from conceptualization, design, and development through launch on Google Play Store and alternative app stores.
Develop Android features using Kotlin and modern Android technologies, including Jetpack Compose.
Establish coding guidelines, participate in code reviews, and promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Implement and oversee testing, monitoring, and release processes to improve application security, performance, stability, and user experience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and product designers to improve workflows and create cohesive user journeys.
Secure personal information, account data, voice traffic, and SMS traffic within the mobile application.

4+ years of Android software development experience.
Background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
Proficiency in Kotlin and strong foundational knowledge of the Android ecosystem, including architecture, application lifecycle, and concurrency.
Professional experience with Jetpack Compose is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to iterate quickly, incorporate feedback, and maintain high quality.
Experience brainstorming and iterating with product designers.
Preferred experience with Android concurrency and storage frameworks such as Coroutines, Room, and DataStore.
Preferred familiarity with privacy-focused Android operating systems.
Preferred knowledge of cryptography, trusted execution environments, StrongBox, eSIM, 4G, or 5G.
