Responsibilities
- Define cross-domain software-defined vehicle embedded platform reference architectures covering HPC, zonal compute, Vehicle OS, mixed-criticality partitioning, and software-defined hardware.
- Lead MBSE-based systems design, including SysML electrical/electronic architecture, model-driven safety allocation, and digital continuity workflows.
- Drive Adaptive AUTOSAR, SOAFEE, and Eclipse SDV ecosystem adoption and integration.
- Lead organization-wide ISO 26262 functional safety strategy, ASIL governance, SEooC qualification, and DFA frameworks.
- Collaborate with OEM SDV architects and platform engineering teams on platform architecture and multiprogram alignment.
- Govern cybersecurity systems engineering for SDV platforms, including TARA, UNECE R155 CSMS, and R156 SUMS architecture.
- Establish reusable systems engineering intellectual property, including reference architectures, safety templates, and ICD libraries.
- Govern ASPICE Level 3 SYS compliance and define Level 3 and Level 4 readiness roadmaps.
- Lead complex technical proposals for high-value SDV platform systems engineering engagements.
- Build SDV systems engineering capability through curricula, training, tools adoption, and expert mentoring.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in automotive embedded software and cross-domain SDV platform development.
- BE/BTech or ME/MTech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Embedded Systems Engineering, with 15 years of full-time education.
- Mastery of SDV embedded systems engineering, E/E architecture, mixed-criticality design, safety allocation, and Vehicle OS.
- Expertise in ISO 26262, ASIL B/C/D, and ISO/SAE 21434 cybersecurity governance across multiple SDV embedded platform programs.
- Experience defining platform-level SDV architectures spanning HPC, zone controllers, and domain ECUs for multiple OEMs.
- Deep MBSE expertise with SysML-based E/E architecture and model-driven safety requirements.
- Experience governing ASPICE-compliant SDV embedded systems engineering and driving process maturity.
- Proven engagement with OEM Chief SDV Platform Architects and delivery of complex embedded platform programs.
- Preferred experience with SOAFEE, WAL, HAL, container orchestration, and SDV reference implementations.
- Preferred knowledge of the Eclipse SDV ecosystem, including Eclipse Kuksa, Eclipse Leda, Chariott, and Agemo.
- Preferred familiarity with AI safety co-design, ISO/IEC 42001, AI governance, SOTIF, ISO 21448, and safety performance indicators.
- Preferred exposure to formal methods including Z notation, TLA+, and Alloy, as well as global SDV regulations and standards.
