Responsibilities
- Translate business strategy into technical visions and non-functional requirements for performance, reliability, scalability, and cost.
- Lead client and leadership workshops, define scope, align technical feasibility, and manage expectations.
- Evaluate AI platform and foundation-model technology choices, including build-versus-buy decisions involving Arize and LangSmith.
- Architect model- and tool-agnostic multi-agent systems governed by an MCP Control Plane.
- Design and implement the Agent Registry, AI Gateway, agent certification gate, and core agent services including memory endpoints.
- Architect data ingestion, preprocessing, synchronization, fine-tuning, and RAG pipelines.
- Design context layers using knowledge graphs, vector search, and semantic retrieval for grounded AI systems.
- Architect model adaptation, dynamic model routing, response caching, request batching, and low-latency inference solutions.
- Define centrally enforced security, governance, observability, identity, guardrail, and FinOps controls for AI systems.
- Establish evaluation frameworks and instrument observability with OTel.
- Maintain enterprise AI reference architectures, reusable patterns, and approved software-component libraries.
- Build proof-of-concept prototypes and foundational software components to validate architecture decisions.
- Produce architecture blueprints, sequence diagrams, design specifications, integration specifications, and ADRs.
- Mentor cross-functional data, ML, and application engineering teams and research emerging AI technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Considerable experience designing and deploying enterprise-grade advanced AI solutions using agentic, generative, and classical AI/ML with at least one cloud vendor.
- Proven experience in agentic, LLM, and generative AI.
- Solid Python coding experience.
- Experience architecting and operationalizing LLM-driven application architecture patterns.
- Hands-on coding and engineering experience with machine learning, deep learning, and NLP solutions and applications.
- Industry experience as a machine learning architect designing big-data, machine-learning, and large-scale analytical engineering solutions.
