Responsibilities
- Design, code, enhance, and optimize custom software components across systems and applications.
- Design and implement scalable microservices-based systems using modular and decoupled service architectures.
- Apply containerization and orchestration technologies to support lightweight service deployment.
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs within distributed systems.
- Troubleshoot and improve performance in microservices environments.
- Act as a subject-matter expert, collaborate with and manage the team, and make decisions for the team and across multiple teams.
- Lead software development best-practice initiatives and mentor junior team members.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication around project goals and deliverables.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in microservices and lightweight architecture.
- Proficiency in microservices and lightweight architecture.
- Strong knowledge of scalable microservices-based system design and implementation.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Ability to apply modular design and service-decoupling principles.
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and distributed-system integration.
- Competence in troubleshooting and optimizing microservices performance.
- 15 years of full-time education.
