Responsibilities
- Develop, design, code, and enhance custom software components across systems and applications.
- Provide hands-on L2/L3 application support and configuration for Chromeleon, OpenLab, LabX, Metrohm, MassLib, and LabQ.
- Support laboratory digital workflows and help ensure system availability and performance.
- Analyze complex system requirements and translate them into software solutions.
- Apply debugging, testing, performance optimization, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Collaborate with teams to continuously refine software elements and respond to evolving business requirements.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with Laboratory Information and Execution Systems.
- Proficiency in Laboratory Information and Execution Systems.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle practices.
- Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks relevant to custom software development.
- Familiarity with debugging, testing, and performance optimization techniques.
- Ability to analyze complex system requirements and develop effective software solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and collaborative working skills.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Experience in chemical R&D environments or a chemistry background is an advantage.
