Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications, backend services, and distributed systems.
  • Contribute to microservice architecture, technical design discussions, and architecture decisions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
  • Develop automated tests and support continuous integration and CI/CD workflows.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
  • Address performance, scalability, reliability, and security issues.
  • Troubleshoot production issues using logs, metrics, and monitoring tools.
  • Improve engineering standards, deployment workflows, and development practices.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of hands-on Java experience in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong expertise with Spring, Spring Boot, or similar Java frameworks, REST API development, and backend services.
  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.
  • Experience with SQL, relational databases, and query optimization.
  • Experience contributing to distributed systems or service-based architectures.
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD practices.
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred experience with event-driven architectures or messaging platforms such as Kafka.
  • Preferred familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Postman, OpenAPI, nginx, Apache, performance optimization, distributed-system troubleshooting, secure software development, and system monitoring.
