Responsibilities

  • Architect, build, and maintain scalable automated test suites using Playwright and maintainable design patterns.
  • Develop end-to-end test coverage across UI and API layers for enterprise platform initiatives and integrations.
  • Adapt and extend the existing automation framework to achieve coverage for critical test scenarios.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines so they run continuously, including on pull requests.
  • Partner with architects, developers, product managers, delivery leadership, stakeholders, and Staff QA Automation Developers throughout the SDLC.
  • Define acceptance criteria, comprehensive test plans, and automation priorities from product and design specifications.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing for key projects, including new partner and client integrations.
  • Use monitoring signals, incident reviews, and customer feedback to identify quality improvements.
  • Review and execute manual test cases, validate features against test plans, and add appropriate scenarios to automated regression coverage.
  • Improve quality processes, documentation, workflows, and repeatable team practices.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate test development and maintenance and share effective approaches with the team.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of QA experience testing SaaS or cloud applications.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on test automation framework experience with Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
  • Experience authoring and maintaining end-to-end test suites.
  • Strong TypeScript and/or Go experience.
  • Experience testing both UI and API layers, including API validation with tools such as Postman.
  • Knowledge of scalable test architecture and patterns such as Page Object Model, data factories, and separation of concerns.
  • Experience with MySQL or a similar relational database is preferred.
  • Familiarity with test management platforms such as Allure TestOps.
  • Deep understanding of the full SDLC and Quality Engineering practices.
  • Experience in SaaS, fintech, banking, insurance, or other financial services environments is preferred.
  • Experience building agents or applications that meaningfully accelerate testing is a plus.
  • Ability to shape quality strategy, communicate test gaps in business terms, and work effectively with business and delivery stakeholders.
