Base Salary
$215k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide cybersecurity consulting and threat mitigation assessments for clients.
- Advise on identity management, access control, threat mitigation, privacy protection, intrusion detection, insider threat detection, software analysis, reverse engineering, and machine learning/deep learning.
- Develop business by bringing in consulting projects within the first year after hire.
- Generate new business leads and expand offerings and value for existing clients through professional networks.
- Evaluate and implement threat mitigation systems and processes.
- Work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Lead strategic advisory and client-facing consulting activities as a Senior Manager.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in security.
- Proven success as a cybersecurity consultant and strategic advisor.
- A record of business generation and securing contracts or funding.
- A well-developed business development plan with target clients or sectors.
- Recognition as a cybersecurity thought leader or innovator.
- Strong practical engineering ability combined with leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- An existing network of contacts or colleagues is preferred.
- Proof of U.S. citizenship and possession of, or ability to obtain, a U.S. DoD Security Clearance are required for contracts with the United States Government.
