Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, troubleshoots, and delivers secure, scalable software solutions.
- Writes, reviews, debugs, and maintains high-quality production code.
- Leads team adoption and responsible validation of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering tools.
- Uses software development lifecycle automation to improve engineering efficiency and outcomes.
- Identifies and automates remediation of recurring issues to improve application and system stability.
- Leads technical evaluations with vendors, startups, and internal teams.
- Leads software engineering communities of practice and promotes adoption of emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Proficiency with AWS services including EKS, ECS, Lambda, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and RDS.
- Experience leading approved AI-assisted software development tools for coding, code review, testing, or troubleshooting.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Experience coaching engineers on safe and compliant AI-assisted development practices.
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more of Python, Go, Java, or Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods and in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
- Advanced understanding of application resiliency, security, and software engineering processes.
- Preferred experience with JFrog Artifactory, Maven, Gradle, NPM, PyPI, NuGet, Docker, GraphQL, Dynatrace, and Splunk.
