Responsibilities
- Build platforms, systems, and services for teams interacting with large-scale production systems.
- Develop tools that improve engineering productivity.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
- Introduce new ideas and technologies into the platform and iterate on solutions.
Requirements
- Be completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or have equivalent practical experience.
- Have coursework, academic projects, or internship experience in at least two areas including web application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, networking systems, or software systems.
- Demonstrate strong foundational programming and problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new systems and tools quickly.
- Have a genuine interest in IT Operations concepts such as Discovery, Insights, Configuration Management, IT Operations Management, or IT Service Management.
- Preferred: exposure to GPU computing, Hadoop, Kafka, Apache, big data, or streaming and computing concepts.
- Preferred: software development experience with Golang or Python.
- Preferred: familiarity with web stack protocols and basic web server concepts.
- Preferred: experience troubleshooting technical issues in academic, internship, or personal project settings.
