Responsibilities
- Drive quality assurance for business features from technical handoff through production release.
- Review specifications and create test plans, comprehensive test cases, and checklists.
- Estimate testing work and meet committed deadlines.
- Perform functional, exploratory, regression, UI/UX, and end-to-end API testing on real devices and emulators.
- Develop, maintain, and scale UI and API test automation frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate core user workflows and manage test data setup and teardown.
- Maintain test documentation, conduct peer code reviews, and participate in reviews of personal work.
- Collaborate with Product, Mobile, Back-End, and Architecture teams throughout the development cycle.
- Validate App Store and Google Play releases, including builds, deeplinks, pre-release testing, and live crash/performance monitoring.
- Track and improve QA metrics including test coverage, defect density, and automation framework health.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design, and software testing processes.
- Experience testing mobile applications across iOS and Android, including platform guidelines and real devices or emulators.
- Experience with Proxyman, Charles, or Fiddler and native log analysis using ADB logcat or Xcode Console.
- Familiarity with API testing, Postman, and test data management.
- Experience with Jira, Allure Testops, and Git.
- Hands-on experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Maestro or Appium.
- Basic scripting skills in JavaScript or Python.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Bitrise.
- Experience with crash reporting tools such as Sentry and mobile app store submission workflows.
