Base Salary
$125k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement control systems for ground-station hardware and software interacting with embedded systems and RF modems.
- Develop customer APIs for booking time on the network.
- Create monitoring and alerting solutions for software and infrastructure.
- Build software for production-line bring-up and testing.
- Design and implement software orchestrating the global antenna network and data plane.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Completed bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, or another related major.
- Knowledge of API design, authentication, and access-control best practices.
- Preferred: proficiency in Rust, Python, C, or C++.
- Preferred: understanding of network programming and IP protocols.
- Preferred: familiarity with microservices architecture, UI/UX best practices, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- Preferred: experience designing or implementing orchestration engines for distributed nodes, long-running jobs, data pipelines, or robotics.
- Must meet applicable U.S. Government ITAR eligibility requirements or be eligible to obtain required authorizations.
