Responsibilities
- Advise enterprise customers and collaborate with executive stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams.
- Lead discovery sessions, architecture workshops, technical design reviews, and cloud strategy engagements.
- Design secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-optimized AWS architectures aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Design and implement AWS landing zones, multi-account environments, hybrid connectivity, disaster recovery, and enterprise networking solutions.
- Architect and operate production-grade Amazon EKS and Kubernetes platforms, including networking, security, autoscaling, monitoring, and high availability.
- Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives involving containers, microservices, serverless services, and cloud-native architectures.
- Implement Terraform Infrastructure as Code with reusable modules, remote state management, and multi-account deployments.
- Integrate Terraform and infrastructure automation into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
- Design AWS networking solutions using VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, Route 53, and hybrid connectivity.
- Implement IAM, security, encryption, governance, compliance, FinOps, reliability, and operational excellence practices.
- Troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux environments, web platforms, networking, system services, performance issues, application issues, and production incidents.
- Support IIS, Apache, and Nginx web platforms.
- Develop infrastructure and operational automation using PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
- Perform root cause analysis and drive preventive improvements across cloud and infrastructure environments.
- Produce HLDs, LLDs, architecture diagrams, migration plans, technical proposals, and SOWs.
- Mentor engineering teams, conduct architecture reviews, establish cloud and platform engineering practices, and support pre-sales through solution design, estimation, proposals, and customer presentations.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise AWS environments.
- Strong hands-on production experience with Amazon EKS and Kubernetes.
- Advanced Terraform experience covering reusable modules, remote state, enterprise landing zones, and multi-account architectures.
- Strong AWS networking knowledge, including VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, Route 53, and hybrid connectivity.
- Experience with IAM, cloud security, encryption, governance, compliance, and AWS security best practices.
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Understanding of cloud cost optimization, FinOps, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Strong administration and troubleshooting experience across Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with IIS, Apache HTTP Server, and Nginx.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, or Datadog.
- Strong customer-facing consulting, stakeholder management, and technical communication skills.
- Experience producing enterprise architecture documentation and leading technical workshops.
- Cloud migration, modernization, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud experience is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional certification is mandatory.
