Base Salary
$124k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Debug complex software products through systematic testing and maintain quality standards.
- Perform software tests on code and enhancements with limited supervision.
- Write test standards and procedures and maintain documentation of test results.
- Analyze test results, recommend corrective actions, and consult with development engineers on problem resolution.
- Support software quality integration with scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing systems.
- Assist in technically leading or executing software test projects and provide feedback for technical appraisals of programming languages and systems.
Requirements
- Demonstrated conceptual and practical expertise in the relevant discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
- Knowledge of best practices and how the function integrates with related areas.
- Ability to solve complex problems using multiple sources of information and exercise judgment.
- Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and build consensus.
- Ability to act as a resource for less-experienced colleagues and potentially lead small projects.
