Responsibilities
- Lead cloud platform storage architecture and integrate commercial storage solutions into the cloud environment.
- Design and implement DPU-based storage data paths using NVIDIA BlueField.
- Manage and optimize host storage components including NVMe, NVMe-oF, RDMA, multipath, file systems, and block devices.
- Design and manage KVM/QEMU virtual machine storage using VirtIO Block, VirtIO SCSI, PCI Passthrough, VFIO, and SR-IOV.
- Manage the full cloud-volume lifecycle, including provisioning, mounting or attaching, detaching, snapshotting, and resizing.
- Optimize I/O latency, IOPS, RDMA performance, and NUMA behavior.
- Collaborate with network, virtualization, GPU, and DPU teams to scale a high-performance GPU cloud platform.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of Linux storage architecture, including block devices, Device Mapper, LVM, and filesystems.
- Proficiency with the Linux I/O stack, including io_uring, AIO, NVMe, and NVMe-oF.
- Strong expertise in RDMA technologies, including RoCE, InfiniBand, and verbs.
- Hands-on experience with KVM/QEMU, libvirt, and VirtIO.
- Familiarity with Linux networking fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Python or Go.
