Base Salary
$70k - $118k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new software solutions, enhancements, and updates for web and mobile applications.
- Fix system issues independently and contribute to software troubleshooting and debugging.
- Develop unit and automation test scripts under a test-driven development lifecycle.
- Contribute to coding practices, code merges, software releases, and continuous improvement of delivery processes.
- Collaborate with geographically distributed scrum teams using Agile methodology and project management software.
- Learn new technologies to support existing products and strategic roadmap initiatives.
Requirements
- Typically less than two years of experience developing products and platforms using UI or backend web technologies.
- Experience with Java, Python, or other object-oriented languages.
- Experience with modern UI frameworks such as AngularJS or ReactJS.
- Experience with service-oriented architecture, end-to-end UI/API integration, and API protocols such as REST, gRPC, and GraphQL.
- Knowledge of UI and backend architectures, caching technologies, and database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle and software development practices.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
