Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and build a new software product.
- Develop, test, and maintain application features and services.
- Participate in technical discussions, solution design, sprint planning, and code reviews.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues throughout the development lifecycle.
- Contribute to scalable and reliable cloud-based applications and services.
- Support automated testing, deployment, and monitoring solutions.
- Validate requirements with cross-functional teams and deliver high-quality product experiences.
- Create and maintain technical documentation covering design decisions, workflows, and implementation details.
- Contribute ideas to improve the product, development processes, customer experience, engineering practices, and team culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of software development experience, including internships, co-ops, academic projects, personal projects, or professional experience.
- Experience with or exposure to one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, object-oriented design, and data structures.
- Familiarity with web application development principles and modern development frameworks.
- Experience using source control tools such as Git.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in an evolving environment with changing processes, tools, and product requirements.
- Preferred experience includes software development internships, co-ops, open-source work, academic or personal projects, REST APIs, databases, microservices, cloud-native applications, hackathons, or side projects.
- Interest in restaurant technology, retail technology, SaaS platforms, or point-of-sale solutions is preferred.
