Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for the Cloud Security Segmentation platform.
  • Build Kubernetes-based control-plane services and cloud-native security platforms.
  • Develop reliable, well-tested software using automated testing, CI/CD, and observability practices.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, product managers, and SRE teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues across distributed systems, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and incident response to improve system reliability.
  • Use AI-assisted engineering tools for development, testing, debugging, documentation, and code quality.
  • Improve engineering processes through automation, innovation, and continuous learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of software engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in one or more of Go, Java, Python, or C++.
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
  • Experience developing backend services or distributed applications.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native application development.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testing.
  • Basic understanding of Linux, TCP/IP networking, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience using AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and software quality.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred experience with Kubernetes and container networking, Istio or Envoy, Linux networking, AWS, GCP, Azure, databases, messaging systems, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Zero Trust, workload identity, or micro-segmentation.
