Responsibilities
- Research, design, and develop computer, network, and specialized utility software.
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions using computer science, engineering, and mathematical-analysis principles.
- Update existing software capabilities and develop or direct software testing and validation procedures.
- Design and maintain large-scale distributed systems and troubleshoot system issues.
- Build efficiency and training tools for online machine-learning models and manage large hardware resources.
- Collaborate with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and define specifications and performance requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent with 1+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience analyzing and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Experience designing and maintaining large-scale systems.
- Programming experience in Python or Golang.
- Familiarity with MySQL, Redis, Kafka, ClickHouse, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
- Expertise in DevOps technologies including monitoring, alarms, tracing, and CMDB systems.
- Experience building solutions with AWS, Azure, AliCloud, or other cloud services.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of code optimization, routine-task automation, algorithms, and data structures.
- Preferred proficiency in at least one machine-learning framework: TensorFlow, PyTorch, MXNet, or PaddlePaddle.
