Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction, architecture, development standards, and delivery quality of custom software solutions.
- Lead end-to-end implementation of SAP S/4HANA Embedded PPDS solutions.
- Conduct requirements-gathering, process-design, Fit-to-Standard, and Fit-Gap workshops with business stakeholders.
- Configure production planning, detailed scheduling, capacity planning, heuristics, optimization, planning boards, alerts, and related PPDS functionality.
- Work with manufacturing master data, planning procedures, scheduling strategies, finite-capacity planning, and production scheduling constraints.
- Design integration between S/4HANA Production Planning and embedded PPDS, including master and transactional data transfer.
- Prepare functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, reports, and other developments with ABAP and technical teams.
- Support unit testing, SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, hypercare, issue analysis, documentation, training, and knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Embedded PPDS and at least 1–2 completed end-to-end SAP PPDS/ePPDS implementations.
- Strong understanding of production planning, MRP, capacity planning, detailed scheduling, manufacturing master data, production orders, and planned orders.
- Hands-on experience with PPDS master data, heuristics, planning procedures, scheduling strategies, and planning boards.
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA PP and ePPDS integration, finite and infinite scheduling, and manufacturing planning processes.
- Experience preparing functional specifications and working with ABAP or technical teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder-management, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Preferred experience with SAP APO PP/DS and migration or transformation to S/4HANA ePPDS.
- Preferred understanding of Kinaxis integration with S/4HANA/ePPDS, SAP Fiori applications, and complex manufacturing scenarios such as alternate resources, sequence-dependent setup, setup matrices, campaign planning, or bottleneck-resource scheduling.
