Responsibilities
- Monitor Forge cloud applications for system health, connectivity, and service performance.
- Triage and analyze Forge-generated service cases and collaborate with Field Service Professionals to resolve issues.
- Investigate connectivity and performance issues, track them through resolution, and escalate when required.
- Use Forge data to identify energy or HVAC optimization opportunities and communicate actionable insights.
- Provide structured feedback to backend development teams and collaborate cross-functionally to improve service reliability.
- Maintain operational records and contribute to consistent service-level performance.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Controls Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience focused on monitoring and troubleshooting cloud-based applications.
- Working knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud, including cloud-monitoring tools and practices.
- Experience collaborating with field service teams or comparable operational groups.
- Experience with logging, alerting, and incident-management systems.
- Experience with Building Management Systems and Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning systems.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for cloud environments and the ability to identify energy waste or suboptimal HVAC operation are valued.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, detail-orientation, independent-work, and distributed-team collaboration skills are valued.
